Description
The AH226112 is a head auger drive slip clutch for John Deere combines. It is installed in the head auger drive mechanism and serves to protect the transmission and drive components from overloads and jamming when the header is operating on uneven surfaces or when in contact with large obstacles.
The slip clutch operates in such a way that when a critical load is reached, it begins to slip, allowing you to temporarily unload the drive and prevent damage to more expensive transmission or auger components. After the load is reduced, the drive restores the connection in normal mode.
