Purpose: Reinforced cuff (gland) is designed to seal rotation units and parts, such as a shaft, rocker arm, crankshaft, flywheel, gear, gearbox, gearbox, etc. Thanks to the elastic lip on the side of the inner hole, it keeps the lubricant from flowing out of the bearing rotation zone.
It is a rubber or polyurethane product of a round shape with a hole, consisting of a metal reinforced curved ring and, in the vast majority of cases, a spring-ring for pressing the inner edge of the cuff to the shaft.
